These two marbles were recovered from the cistern at the Hale Ritchie house in Topeka during excavations in 2004. The marbles are commies and not used as shooters while playing marbles. The Hale Ritchie house was a stop on the Underground Railroad, though these glass marbles likely date to a later period.
