This pipestone cross was found in Marshall County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1925 as part of the Wullschleger collection. The soft, fine-grain material enabled the pendant's carver to shape and smooth the piece. At some point, it was repaired by the donor after breaking into two pieces.
