These four side-scrapers were recovered from the Wullschleger site, in Marshall County, and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1960 and 1961. They were all likely hafted onto a handle and used to scrape hides. Periodic resharpening would cause the scrapers to become shorter in length.
