This photograph shows inmates Henry S. Jose Jr., prisoner #9270 and William Nealy, prisoner #9523. Henry S. Jose Jr. was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on march 27, 1900 from Lincoln County, Oklahoma for burglary. Inmate William Nealy, also known by the surname Neely, was received at the penitentiary on November 5, 1900 from Sedgwick County, Kansas for grand larceny. He was sentenced on September 7, 1900.
