This photograph shows inmates James Foster, prisoner #9426 and Eugene Williams, prisoner #6350. James Foster was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on June 27, 1900 from Finney County, Kansas for maiming and wounding. He was sentenced on June 1, 1900. Inmate Eugene Williams was received at the penitentiary on November 17, 1892 from Oklahoma County, Oklahoma for murder.
