This photograph shows inmates, Amos E. Pearce, prisoner #8956 and James Morrissey, prisoner #8932. Amos E. Pearce was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on May 20, 1899 from Oklahoma for larceny. Varient spelling of his surname includes Pearse. Inmate James Morrissey was received at the penitentiary on May 26, 1899 from Osborne County, Kansas for burglary and larceny.
