This photograph shows inmates George Benson, prisoner #8182 and Fred Fletcher, prisoner #9315. George Benson, also known as Fred Miller, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on June 15, 1897 from Russell County, Kansas for burlgary and larceny. Fred Fletcher was received at the penitentiary on April 6, 1900 from Oklahoma County, Oklahoma for burglary. He was sentenced on February 24, 1900.
