This photograph shows inmates Jack Munroe, prisoner #8707 and Chas. Leftwich, prisoner #9553. Jack Munroe, also known by the surname Monroe, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on November 5, 1898 from Garfield County, Oklahoma for grand larceny. Inmate Chas. Leftwich was received at the penitentiary on November 24, 1900 from Crawford County, Kansas for bigamy.
