This photograph shows inmates Shirley Brown, 9361, and David Bunn, 9230. Shirley Brown was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on May 14, 1900 from Bourbon County, Kansas for burglary. This was his second term at the penitentiary. David Bunn was received at the penitentiary on March 5, 1900 from Cherokee County, Kansas for larceny from a freight car.
