This photograph shows inmates Dick Mullice, prisoner #9450 and Isaac Van Brunt, prisoner #4686. Dick Mullice, also known as Richard Mullis, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on July 17, 1900 from Shawnee County, Kansas for assult with intent to kill. This was his second term at the penitentiary. Inmate Isaac Van Brunt was received at the penitentiary on March 31, 1888 from Butler County, Kansas for larceny.
