This photograph shows inmates Ed Moore, prisoner #9062 and Joe Carson, prisoner #9119. Ed Moore, also known as Edward Moon, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on October 6, 1899 from Bourbon County, Kansas. This was his second term at the penitentiary. Inmate Joe Carson was received at the penitentiary on November 17, 1899 from Brown County, Kansas. Both men were arrested for larceny.
