This photograph shows inmates Joseph Brown, prisoner #9247 and Fred Bell, prisoner #9086. Joseph Brown was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on March 11, 1900 for burglary. Fred Bell was received at the penitentiary on October 19, 1899 for grand larceny. Both men are from Anderson County, Kansas.
