This photograph shows inmates Frederick C. Heron, prisoner #9069 and Elmer Marlnee, prisoner #9328. Frederick "Fred" C. Heron was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on October 6, 1899 from Kay County, Oklahoma for larceny. Elmer Marlnee was received at the penitentiary on April 24, 1900 from Neosho County, Kansas for keeping a gambling house. He was sentenced on April 5, 1900.
