This photograph shows inmates Herman Linsky, prisoner #9093 and John Reeder, prisoner #8785. Herman Linsky, also known as F.E. Wilson and surname Lensky, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on October 26, 1899 from Labette County, Kansas for larceny from a dwelling. Inmate John Reeder was received at the penitentiary on December 28, 1898 from Grant County, Oklahoma for assault with intent to rape.
