This photograph shows inmates James P. Moffets, prisoner #9376 and Chas. Wilson, prisoner #8539. James P. Moffets, also known with surnames Maffet, Maffets, and Moffett, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on May 27, 1900 from Sedgwick County, Kansas for forgery. Inmate Chas. Wilson, also known as W.M. Wilson and W.M. Mlison, was received at the penitentiary on May 2, 1898 from Cherokee County, Kansas for murder.
