This photograph shows inmates William A. Williams, 9544, and Wm. J. Carr, 9555. William A. Williams was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on November 21, 1900 from Clay County, Kansas for stealing a horse and buggy. Wm. J. Carr was received at the penitentiary on November 24, 1900 from Crawford County, Kansas for grand larceny.
