James Crane, also known by the surnames Crone and Crome, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on September 9, 1897 from Johnson County, Kansas for burglary. Inmate Robert Morgan was received at the penitentiary on November 12, 1897 from Dickinson County, Kansas for grand larceny.
