This photograph shows inmates Noah Gibson, 9444, and Stanley Edwards, 8143. Noah Gibson was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on July 11, 1900 from Montgomery County, Kansas for forgery. He was sentenced on Jun 30, 1900. Stanley Edwards who went by the alias John Doe, was received at the penitentiary on May 18, 1897 from Labette County, Kansas for burglary and assault with intent to kill.
