This photograph shows inmates Fred Wilson, prisoner #7923 and William Jones, prisoner #8102. Fred Wilson was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on November 26, 1896 from Montgomery County, Kansas. William Jones, also known as John Turner, was received at the penitentiary on April 8, 1897 from Wyandotte County, Kansas. Both men were arrested for burglary and larceny.
