This photograph shows inmates James Scott, prisoner #9576 and Adolph Muller, prisoner #9545. James Scott was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on December 1, 1900 from Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. Inmate Adolph Muller, also known by the surname Miller, was received at the penitentiary on november 21, 1900 from Clay County, Kansas. Both men were arrested for grand larceny.
