This photograph shows inmates Wm. Jones, 9501, and Jacob Dicks, 9113. Wm. Jones was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on October 26, 1900 from Reno County, Kansas for grand larceny. He was sentenced on September 12, 1900. Jacob Dicks was received at the penitentiary on November 14, 1899 from Reno County, Kansas for murder.
