This photograph shows inmates Burt Lockwood, prisoner #8045 and Frank King, prisoner #9469. Burt Lockwood was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on March 6, 1897 from Sedgwick County, Kansas for burglary. Inmate Frank King was received at the penitentiary on September 8, 1900 from Marion County, Kansas for larceny. This was his second term at the penitentiary, orginally arrested under the name William Ryan, prisoner #8004.
