This photograph shows inmates James Riley, prisoner #9468 and Harry Seigle, prisoner #8505. James Riley was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on September 8, 1900 from Marion County, Kansas for grand larceny. Inmate Harry Seigle, also known by the surnmae Siegel, was received at the penitentiary on March 26, 1898 from Montgomery County, Kansas for burglary and larceny.
