This photograph shows inmates Lewis Stickney, prisoner #7965 and Clair Morris, prisoner #9482. Lewis Stickney, also known by the surname Stickman, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on December 17, 1896 from Butler County, Kansas for burglary and larceny. Clair Morris was received at the penitentiary on October 3, 1900 from Clark County, Kansas for grand larceny.
