This photograph shows the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company hospital in La Junta, Colorado. Construction for the facility began in September 1908 when the cornerstone was laid. For a number of years the hospital provided medical care for Santa Fe workers and their families until the hospital closed and was demolished in 2011.
