This is a postcard showing the Hotel Kansan located at 100 E. 9th Street in Topeka, Kansas. The building was designed by Sheparde & Wiser of Kansas City, and cost more than one million dollars to build. The hotel closed in 1968. The two bottom floors were converted to offices and a bank, and the upper floors to apartments.
