This cabinet card shows the Fenton-Hoffman family in Gypsum, Kansas. Charlie Hoffman was the half-brother of the three sisters, Belle, Alpha and Ota Fenton. Pictured are Charles Alfred Hoffman (left) with half-sister Minnie Belle (seated left), Alpha Doretta (seated right), and Anna Leota (standing). All of the children were born in Saline County, Kansas; Minnie Belle (b. 1874), Alpha Doretta (b. 1876), and Anna Leota (b. 1880) were the daughters of Sarah Ellen Hall and George W. Fenton. Charles Alfred Hoffman (b. 1884) was the son of Sarah Ellen Hall and John Hoffman.
