Item Description Bookbag Share

Sabetha, Kans. Sep 10  1880

John P. St. John

Dear Sir:

Although tardy in behalf of the many temperance workers here in Eastern Newaha permit me to extend our congratulations for your nomination as your own successor   We shall do all we can that such may be the case.  Our organizations are well perfected and we think we can do much for prohibition .  We are thoroughly billing for the 15th Inst where Mr John Finch & Mrs Ellen Foster will be present.  We expect to make many converts to the new political faith

I have the honor to subscribe myself

Your most obedient servant

A.L. Colemen

Sec. Ex Com Blue Ribon [XX]
