In this letter, E. B. Reynolds, a devoted temperance worker, requests from Kansas Governor St. John railroad passes for he and his wife. Reynolds also states that the Governor needs to "whistle down breaks" on a certain female lecturer, who's "gushing manner" may jeopardize St. John's future nomination.
