In this letter from C. Monjeau, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Kansas City, Mo, to Kansas Governor St. John, Monjeaue introduces Col. A. P. Higgins, whose experience (presumably with intemperance) is described as "bitters blasting". Monjeau is anxious for Higgins to speak to the "doubters."
