Dear Gov

I telegraphed you that I had announced you for Jewell County Aug 12th P.M.  The meeting will be at Jewell Center (Mankato) the County seat.  You can take the train at Waterville Thursday at 4:38 A.M. and arrive at Jewell Center at 10:58 A.M. same day.  You will change at Jamestown.

You can go from Marysville after speaking, and get a good night sleep at Waterville, and take the train for here at 4:38 A.M.  If you

can possibly we want you to go to Burr Oak the next day, and help lay the corner stone.  Col Carpenter is the principal man in building, and he is very anxious to have you come.  He is your fact friend.  If you did that you could leave for home Friday afternoon 3,30  If you can not go to Burr Oak I will arrange for you at Beloit 12th at 8 P.M. and you can reach it all right.  Telegraph me at Beloit if you will go to Burr Oak, by Friday.  I leave Beloit Saturday morning.  If you Telegraph me after Friday send  to Jewell City care of Rev A B Connell
