His Excellency
Gov. St. John
Dear Sir.
We are anxious to make up our slate for the coming
campaign.
I have talked with our representative men and women, and
we want to engage the following speakers. Miss Francis E. Willard.
Mr. Geo. W. Bain, and his Excellency Gov. St. John. If you can assist
us, by engaging the above speakers, and arranging time we shall be greatly
obliged. Mrs. Barnes will be at Bismark Grove this week and she will
confer with you if possible. We are all deeply anxious for your
success in the coming convention.

A reply has been commenced in the Union to
Judge Humphrey's articles by a lady of my parish who is capable of doing
full justice to the Judge arguments.
The lady is Mrs. Sage. She will surely warm the

I remain with great Respect
