The Com of Land Office a day or two since decided that all entries of Town site made by our Probate Judges were void – Have you yet got a municipal organization in Osawattomie? And if so who is mayor & who councilmen? And are they in your interest or in Ward & Conways? Write me at once about this matter, but do not mention it to any one, as if it is [voiced?] about any, the site will at once be jumped & law suits plenty –
