This birds-eye view shows an Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company work train pulling a load of welded rails into position at Abo Canyon, near Scholle, New Mexico. Construction on the railway bridges, tunnels, and tracks in Abo Canyon was begun in 1905 and completed in 1908.
