In this letter, L. Brown of Girard, Kansas, suggests to Kansas Governor St. John that a plea for County Mass Temperance meetings should be issued by the Governor and endorsed by himself to build support for the proposed constitutional amendment concern prohibition. Brown wrote on stationery from the Office of the Grand Worthy Chief Templar of the State of Kansas, Independent Order of Good Templars.
