Two photographs of murals in the Kansas capitol painted by John Steuart Curry. One of the murals shows The Conquistadors, Coronado and the Spanish explorers of 1541 with Father Padilla, the first Christian martyr in the United States. The other mural is The Kansas Pastoral mural, which is Curry's attempt at showing the more romantic side of the agricultural state.
