Gov. J.P. St John

My Dear Sir

We have arranged for a Temperance meeting Saturday evening April 17th.  It is probable you cannot reach here until 8.16 that evening unless the freight can be held at Emporia until arrival of the Santa Fe.  now will have a Committee meet you at Deport and escort you to the Church on your arrival, and if it is not to late will be glad to have you address us that evening.  Then we will expect your

address proper Sunday morning at half past ten.  And in the afternoon I will take you to Parkerville where I have already arranged for you for Sunday evening.  the arrangements made will give greatest numbers of our people an opportunity to  hear you.

We have already arranged for a complete organization of our County by School Districts and I will be glad if you will inform me when we can get Blank forms of organization.  Also any other information that you can give us in reference to the work will be gratefully received.

Awaiting your reply,

I remain Truly your friend
