Dear Sir

The Temperance people of the town of Stockton learning that you were about to visit Osborne City, wished to write to you, and extend a cordial invitation to you to visit our town.  We expected you here last fall, and were disappointed in not seeing you.

If your business is such that you can extend your tour to the this palce, we should be happy to meet you.  If you can make it convenient to come, inform me by letter when you will be at Buls City. - the terminus of the Central R.R. - And we will have a conveyance there for you.

The people desire to hear you upon the subject of Temperance.
