This panoramic photograph shows several hundred members of the M W Lodge of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. They are posed in front of the Masonic Home in Wichita, Kansas. There are some boys at the right side of the image. The Masons are a benevolent fraternal order. The home in this image was opened in 1896. The three story limestone home was purchased from Col. Robert E. Law. It was located at Seneca and Maple Streets in Wichita. While owned by Col. Law, the site was called Maplewood and consisted of 15 acres. The captioning on the center of the photograph is difficult to see.
