Having not heard further regarding Kansas Governor St. John's agreement to speak in Manhattan, Kansas, newspaper editor Griffin informs the governor he is scheduled to speak Sunday, and he writes "Do not fail us on any account." Griffin is the editor and proprietor of The Nationalist.
