This Album Patch quilt top is composed of multi-colored pieced calico blocks set on a white muslin ground. White paper fragments with handwritten names are pinned to the center of some blocks. Dates written on the top include 1854, 1855, and 1856. This top probably was made in Pennsylvania and later brought to Kansas.
