A photograph of Henry Friedrich Kettler, born December 3, 1848, and his wife Clara Elisabeth Struhs Kettler, born November 9, 1848. They emigrated from Germany to the United States with their three children. He found work on the railroad, which brought them to Topeka, Kansas. Kettler worked at the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway shops.
