Christmas card with scene of "Cedar Crest," 1970. Louis Glynn was a stenographer for the Santa Fe Railroad. He was also a self-trained artist, and beginning in the 1940s, he created at least 300 Christmas cards by hand each year. He sketched a scene that was then printed on cards by a local print shop. Using an assembly line method, he hand colored and lettered each card and envelope.
