Area farmers proudly display four new Wallis tractors and equipment after their arrival in Alma via rail. This is in the mid-1920s and a new building, the Colonial Theater (the building in the middle), has been constructed next to the bank building. One of these tractors is a pasture art display at the ghost town of Volland today in 2012. William Bowes' law office was upstairs in the Palenske Hall building (the building on the left) in this view.
