This postcard view (to Ethel from Viola dated November 26, 1906) shows the 200 block of Missouri Street, Alma, Kansas. At the far left is the Horne building, now Palenske Hall, shortly before it was gutted and a new front placed on the structure. To the right of that building is a restaurant, then the telephone office, and finally, Eugene Schmitz's meat market.
