This is a photograph of George Henry Lowry who was born August 16, 1864, in Middleport, Ohio, and died April 16, 1937, in Wetmore, Kansas. He married Eresa Dickson Lowry on January 1, 1889, and they had nine children. George Henry Lowry drove a cab for the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad delivering rail passengers and their luggage to a hotel in Horton, Kansas. He later worked at a dairy farm. In 1894, he moved to Nebraska, but in 1896, he returned to Wetmore, Kansas. Lowry later moved to Jefferson Township, Jackson County, Kansas.
