This black and white photograph shows the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company's signal division in Topeka, Kansas. The facility stocked over 5,000 items for construction and maintenance in the electrical, signal and communication fields. Some of the items in storage range from: motor car indicators, automatic train controls, relays for flashers and gates at crossings.
