W. H. Carruth compiled this map of foreign settlements in Kansas. The map is included in the Ninth Biennial Report of the Kansas State Board of Agriculture, Vol. XIV. It shows the locations of foreign settlements of Germans (including Russian Mennonites); Scandinavians; French and Italians; Irish, Welsh and Scotch; and Bohemians and Hungarians.
