These two letters are from E. E. Blackman of the Nebraska Historical Society, to Adolph Roenigk, Lincoln, Kansas. In the first letter, Blackman acknowledges receipt of Roenigk's letter and states that he'll work on Roenigk's request for information at a later date. In the second letter, Blackman has done the research on the "Battle of Summit Springs" and gives Roenigk the details of the battle.
