A photograph showing the library at Topeka High School, Topeka, Kansas. Built in 1931, it was the first million dollar high school west of the Mississippi River. The library, which was modeled after King Henry VIII's palace, features hand carved wood shelving and hand-painted ceilings. The original chairs still remain in the library.
